Portales de La Candelaria, Bogotá

Bogotá makes you fall in love. I found myself visiting for second time visiting this beautiful city in late January last year for the closure of Foo Fighters´ Latin American Tour Sonic Highways... what a concert! The Colombian crowd took pains to receive as the great ones they are: Dave, Chris, Nate, Pat and Taylor, who gave their all on stage for three hours and made me jump, sweat and scream like never in the middle of "El Campín" stadium with my brother and friends. The best trip! Saturday afternoon before the concert I went touring the town of La Candelaria on the slopes of Cerro Guadalupe, accompanied by the lens Ginna Paola Garcia H. Relaxed and definitely spontaneous (by the nature of how we met), we stumbled into this town to walk this beautiful historic center and capture the beautiful portals of the area, which much reminded me of my dear Casco in Panama. Bogotá enamora. Me encontré visitando por segunda vez esta bella ciudad a finales de enero del año pasado para el cierre del Tour Latinoamericano Sonic Highways de Foo Fighters… ¡qué conciertázo! El público colombiano se esmeró en recibir como los grandes que son a Dave, Chris, Nate, Pat y Taylor, quienes lo dieron todo en el escenario por 3 horas y me hicieron brincar, sudar y gritar como nunca en medio del estadio El Campín junto a mi hermano y amigos, ¡el mejor trip! El sábado durante el día antes del concierto fui a recorrer la localidad de La Candelaria a las faldas del Cerro Guadalupe, acompañada del lente de Ginna Paola Garcia H. Relajada y espontánea sin duda (por la naturaleza de cómo nos conocimos), nos topamos en esta localidad para capturar los portales de este bello centro histórico, que mucho me recordaron a mi querido Casco. ¡Infinitas gracias Ginna y Nicolás por su tiempo y talento!
